A delightful dish featuring chicken thighs marinated and cooked to perfection with a sticky sweet chili glaze.

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry, then rub them with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Air Fry the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix the Glaze: In a small bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to create a sticky glaze.
  5. Baste the Chicken: About three times during cooking, take the chicken out and baste it with the glaze.
  6. Finish Cooking: Cook for an additional 10 minutes, ensuring the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Crispy Enhancements: For an extra crispy finish, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  8. Let It Rest: Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.

For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with gluten-free soy sauce.
