Stir-Fried Chinese Chicken and Broccoli

A quick and easy stir-fry dish featuring tender chicken and crunchy broccoli in a savory soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add in the minced ginger and garlic, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Introduce the sliced chicken to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the broccoli florets into the mix, continuing to stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well, coating chicken and broccoli evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

To reduce cooking time, prep ingredients in advance. Don’t overcrowd the pan for best results.
