A quick and hearty dish featuring tender chicken cooked in a rich BBQ sauce with a zesty kick from apple cider vinegar.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the BBQ sauce mixture overnight. You can also make this with pork or turkey for variety.
