A delightful and easy-to-make Honey Banana Bread that’s perfect for cozy mornings or as an afternoon treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until they’re smooth.
  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas until well combined.
  4. Mix in the honey, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and a pinch of salt over the mixture, then mix well.
  6. Add the flour, folding it in gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool before slicing.

Notes

Feel free to use organic bananas or local honey for more flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for about a week.
