A comforting and savory chicken dish with a buttery sauce and smoky undertones, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken and set aside.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits stuck on the bottom.
  6. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth and well combined.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
