Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Delicious wraps filled with creamy cheese, zesty garlic, and tender chicken, perfect for quick meals or snacks.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded or chopped chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Optional: Baby spinach, shredded lettuce, or sliced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and parsley. Stir until creamy.
  3. Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  4. Spoon a quarter of the chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla.
  5. If using, add baby spinach, shredded lettuce, or sliced tomatoes.
  6. Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom to form wraps.
  7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. Brush this mixture generously on the outside of each wrap.
  8. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  9. Place the wraps seam-side down and toast for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy. Ensure the cheese melts beautifully inside.
  10. Slice each wrap in half and serve warm, perhaps with ranch or garlic aioli for dipping.

Notes

Use leftover rotisserie chicken for easier prep. Feel free to add jalapeños or different cheeses for variations.
