These flavorful stuffed pasta shells are filled with a creamy chicken mixture and topped with marinara sauce and cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. Stuff each shell with a generous amount of the chicken mixture and arrange them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, ensuring they’re well-covered.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Best served with a crisp green salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers and refrigerated for up to three days.
