A creamy, flavorful chicken dish with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/3 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 8-10 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add grated garlic to the same skillet and sauté until golden and fragrant—about a minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, thyme, oregano, parmesan, and chili flakes. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and cover with the sauce. Simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
  6. Finish with fresh basil on top before serving.

Notes

Serve over creamy mashed potatoes or fluffy rice for the best experience.
