Ingredients

  • 3 cups cherries, washed, pitted, and chopped
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 3/4 cup ground oats
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp water
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by cleaning, washing, and pitting your cherries.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground oats, coconut oil, maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and water. Stir until everything is well mixed, forming your crumble topping.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  4. Line a small baking pan with parchment paper. Spread one-third of the crumble mixture evenly across the bottom.
  5. Layer the pitted cherries over the crumble base.
  6. Finish by topping with the remaining crumble mixture, squeezing it between your hands to create a lovely texture.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with your choice of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
